Swedish Canadians complete roster with vek, AAustiN, and battery; Aaron joins as backup
After losing three of their players last week, Swedish Canadians have added Alex "vek" Voynov, Austin "AAustiN" Urb, and Ian "battery" Yates to complete their roster ahead of their first scheduled MDL match tomorrow. Additionally, Aaron "Aaron" Thao has joined the team as a backup player for Adam "WolfY" Andersson as he is set to return to Sweden in mid-May.
David "J0LZ" Jolin told Dust2.us that the plan is to schedule as many matches as possible within the next three to four weeks as WolfY needs to play eight out of the first nine games for the team to keep their spot in MDL.
This marks vek's return to MDL after having last played Season 28 with Velocity, while his most recent foray came in Advanced Season 33 with Faint. battery and Aaron are also former Faint alumnus, having played with the squad during their unsuccessful Season 33 playoff campaign. Rounding out the list is AAustiN, with the player leaving Big Frames after just eight days with the squad.
