Under 21 reinforce with addition of Powerzz, KmZ, and RZU; COVID-5 form new lineup
After being reduced to just two members, Under 21 have rebuilt their roster with the additions of George "Powerzz" Yaede, Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes, and Jeff "RZU" Ngo. Additionally, Anhduy "nguyen" Nguyen has been retained as head coach while Huthaifa "blitzz" Khan has joined as an assistant coach focused on the intangible side of the game.
This new lineup reunites FaNg with Powerzz and KmZ, with the trio having played ESEA MDL Season 31 together under Variance. Likewise, FaNg and Brendan "Bwills" Williams played with RZU during Season 32 under Rap Gang.
With their roster back up to full strength, Under 21 are now:
- Brendan "Bwills" Williams
- Justin "FaNg" Coakley
- George "Powerzz" Yaede
- Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes
- Jeff "RZU" Ngo
- Anhduy "nguyen" Nguyen (Coach)
- Huthaifa "blitzz" Khan (Assistant Coach)
As a result of Powerzz and KmZ leaving to join Under 21, Advanced side COVID-5 have undergone a complete overhaul, replacing Tommy "Axed" Ryan and Anthony "agony" Masterton with Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney, Bobby "stamina" Eitrem, Jordan "jitter" Ruggiero, and Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield.
CLASIA joins COVID-5 after having played ESEA Advanced Season 33 with Prospects while Wolffe comes off of the back of a three-month stint with Dogs of War. The change also marks the return of stamina and jitter to play as jitter has been out of action since December 2019 while stamina spent Season 32 as the coach of Recon 5.
Additionally, Ian "battery" Yates will play as a stand-in for the first three matches to help the team retain their Advanced spot.
With this, COVID-5 are:
- Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk
- Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney
- Bobby "stamina" Eitrem
- Jordan "jitter" Ruggiero
- Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield
- Ian "battery" Yates (Stand-in)
