Triumph look to curry and Junior; Under 21 disband
Triumph were left with two roster spots after Logan "Voltage" Long left for Chaos and Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk was cut, which are set to be filled by Rahul "curry" Nemani from Under 21 and Paytyn "Junior" Johnson from Recon 5. Dust2.us confirmed with Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman that the two players are on the team, but have not yet signed a contract with the organization.
With the changes Triumph are now:
- Gabe "Spongey" Greiner
- Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman
- Michael "Grim" Wince
- Rahul "curry" Nemani
- Paytyn "Junior" Johnson
- Ryan "Snakes" Amann (Backup)
- Marcos "tacitus" Castilho (Analyst)
Triumph will see their first action tonight in the qualifier for DreamHack Masters Spring.
With Junior's departure Recon 5 had to fill a void of their own, which they have done with Jet "jet-" Gao, who joined the team's ESEA roster earlier in the week.
Recon 5 are now:
- Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly
- Riley "Reality" Fusch
- Austin "AAustiN" Urb
- Dominic "JazzPimp" Dimpfel
- Jet "jet-" Gao
- Addison "zecK" Gorzeck (Analyst)
Interestingly, Jason "neptune" Tran is also on Recon 5's roster for the DreamHack Masters Spring qualifier, though it is unknown if he is involved with the team's plans going forward.
Finally, Justin "FaNg" Coakley has announced that Under 21 will be disbanding, a decision that follows the departures of Erick "Xeppaa" Bach and curry.
As it stands now, Under 21 is left with:
