Report: Xeppaa and leaf set to replace SicK and cam on Chaos
Chaos have added Under 21 players Nathan "leaf" Orf and Erick "Xeppaa" Bach to their ESEA roster, with sources telling Dust2.us that the two players will be replacing Hunter "SicK" Mims and Cameron "cam" Kern.
The duo are set to join Chaos after strong performances in MDL, with leaf putting up a 1.24 rating over the course of 21 maps while Xeppaa finished close behind him with a 1.21 rating over 28 maps.
Dust2.us has heard from sources close to the team that SicK is on the way out of Chaos as he was reportedly only meant to be a part of the team for the duration of Flashpoint 1. Additionally, SicK is reportedly planning on retiring from CS:GO in the near future.
As for cam although our souce did not give a reason for his dismissal, he is currently the lowest rated player on the team with a 0.99 rating over the last three months.
This potential move continues a tumultuous four months for Chaos, as the team have replaced four players and a coach thus far over that time period. In fact, with cam seemingly set to leave the roster, steel will be left as the sole remaining player from the original Ben's Anime Team lineup.
Moving forward, Chaos' roster will likely be:
- Joshua "steel" Nissan
- Anthony "vanity" Malaspina
- Logan "Voltage" Long
- Erick "Xeppaa" Bach
- Nathan "leaf" Orf
- Matthew "mCe" Elmore (Coach)
Chaos currently have no events scheduled outside of the start of ESEA MDL Season 34, which is set to begin on April 27th.
