What to expect from Complexity v. Liquid
This is the last big North American CS:GO face-off ever, and we couldn't have asked for a better one. Complexity and Liquid will fight for the last BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023 spot today. There are a lot of legendary names from the scene taking it to the server today, but the biggest storyline going on is Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski's, as this is the first he will face the team he represented for eight years.
The best team in North and South America
With yesterday's win over FURIA, it's fair to say that Complexity are the current best team in the whole Americas region, and, independently of the result here, will finish CS:GO with that accolade. This is a team that is coming from a strong ESL Pro League Season 18 and had a good start to the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown Americas, hoping to put an end to the CS:GO stint with a statement win.

JT has the ability to explore Liquid's flaws on the CT-side

floppy and EliGE have been clutch

Grim has to step up and hallzerk needs to keep going
Liquid by a whisker
Risking sounding like a broken record, the second half of 2023 has been unkind to Liquid, and this event has been the embodiment of that. Barely winning against two orgless North American teams, albeit strong ones, should tell you many things, one of them being that maybe bringing Damian "daps" Steele in was not and will not be the answer to Liquid's shortcomings internationally, as they can barely win regionally.

Protect daps on the CT-side but don't lose map control because of it
-
The riflers need to be all on point today

YEKINDAR has to read JT like a book
Previous Matchups
This is the very first time these two rosters will face each other, which gives this series a whole lot of meaning. EliGE will play against Liquid for the first time since the organization decided to pivot towards Europe, after having the North American rifler represent the team during the last eight years. If we want to take a gander at their results with previous rosters, we can see that Liquid have won the last five head-to-heads, with Complexity's sole win picked up at the PGL Antwerp Major Open Qualifiers.
On an interesting note, this is also the very last tier one CS:GO game to ever happen, globally.
