floppy continues to be the light of NA's life

What to expect from Complexity v. FURIA

A strong Complexity and a weak FURIA may create some interesting results.

After dispatching Evil Geniuses in a nail-biter Bo3, Complexity look a little worse for wear than what we have seen on LAN recently from the team. However, the same can be said for FURIA. What the Brazilians barely Legacy on October 6th, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's men have continued to struggle to cement their place as the clear best Brazilian squad. With all of this in mind, it does still feel like Complexity has a slight edge on form at the moment based on their Pro League showing, but in what be both teams' last CS:GO performance it comes down to who can explode early in the series.

Chin up Complexity

Complexity's near blunder against Evil Geniuses on October 6th is interesting as despite need 60 rounds to put down their domestic rivals, the team looked quite good in the series. As such, the roadmap is pretty clear in that if COL's stars show up and they neutralize Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato there is a good chance all goes well for NA.

  • hallzerk needs to continue his strong form to outpace FalleN

  • Complexity's map pool at the moment looks sturdier so they need to take advantage of that

  • Grim lagged behind his team a bit against EG, that can't happen against FURIA

As previously mentioned, FURIA's performance against Legacy left a lot to be desired from what is supposed to be Brazil's de-jure best team. Their struggles can largely be attributed to key underperformances so that is the key area of improvement needs by FURIA.

  • yuurih is a bright spot for FURIA right now

  • chelo needs to bring more to the table than a 0.93 rating

  • FalleN will need to shine to outfrag hallzerk

Previous Matchups

These two squads have not faced off before with their current compositions.

Likely Vetoes

As always, these vetoes come with the caveat that they are highly speculative as they depend on whether Complexity, as the higher ranked team, chooses to pick first or ban last.

  • FURIA bans Anubis (Permaban)

  • Complexity bans Mirage (Least played map)

  • FURIA picks Vertigo (60% Winrate)

  • Complexity picks Overpass (67% Winrate)

  • Ancient as Possible Decider (Neutral Map)

Complexity will take on FURIA today at 03:00PM.
