What to expect from Liquid v. Lynn Vision

Liquid's run in Malta started off with a tough match-up against Virtus.pro, one the former NA squad couldn't overcome despite coming very close. In order to stay alive in the lower bracket and not fall immediately to the Last Chance stage, Liquid need to win against the Chinese team Lynn Vision. Given both teams' performances from yesterday, this should be a clear victory for Keith "NAF" Markovic and co.

Good signs are not wins

Things were chaotic yesterday for Liquid, with Robert "Patsi" Isyanov arriving just in time to play, creating a lot of doubt and stress. But even with all the uncertainty, the team seemed to have a solid plan and they were able to play their own game. Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov is looking more comfortable, as is Patsi. All these are good signs of evolution, but that does not translate into wins. Liquid must win today.

A chance to upset

Lynn Vision's goals coming into ESL Pro League are to play their own game and try to upset everyone they meet on the servers. Yesterday, they almost took a map from G2 and had some great highlights. Given that Liquid are still finding their feet, contrary to G2 who have been together for a year now, Lynn Vision come to this game with the confidence that they can make this a terrible experience for their opponents.
