What to expect from Evil Geniuses v. MOUZ
Evil Geniuses almost shocked ENCE when they came close on Nuke, but the 2-0 was always on the cards for the IEM Dallas winners. The expectation was that EG could have had a regional matchup against MIBR in the lower bracket, however the Brazilians pulled out a surprise victory over MOUZ and earned the right to play ENCE.
EG needs a breakthrough
Evil Geniuses almost snuck out a map win against ENCE, which when considering the need for constant improvement in a developing team, is a good sign. For fans, it's not enough as the organization and team have much higher expectations than just winning a single map against a European opponent. The team needs wins and against MOUZ, that is going to be much tougher than it would have been against MIBR.

HexT was EG's best player on Nuke and shows he can hang at the top
-
junior's match was disappointing and looked like he never got in the game
-
Walco's T-sides were hit or miss, but seems to be learning more and more
MOUZ's bounce back game
MOUZ should have beaten MIBR had it not been for Felipe "insani" Yuji's magnificent series that propelled the Brazilians to a massive upset in the first round. The Europeans now have a much more comfortable matchup, but given that they've already taken one hit, could possibly fall again to another team from the Americas region.

Previous Matchups
These two cores have never faced one another. However, it is interesting to see the trajectory of each team seeing as they both used to be considered the Academy teams of their respective organizations before being fully promoted to the top level.
Likely Vetoes
Maps will be difficult, with EG's success on Nuke yesterday, it might be one they try to include in this matchup.
-
Evil Geniuses ban Overpass
-
MOUZ ban Anubis
-
EG pick Vertigo
-
MOUZ pick Inferno
-
Decider might be Nuke
Tough to tell, but it might be in EG's best interest to ban MOUZ's best map and let MOUZ ban both of their permabans - Anubis.
