Mythic add zNf as stand-in for DAVEY
Donovan "zNf" Froid has joined the Mythic ESEA roster, with Dust2.us learning that he will stand-in for David "DAVEY" Stafford for the month as the Canadian takes a vacation.
Mythic revamped their roster near the start of the year as they added DAVEY and former member Adam "Polen" Polen in place of James "hazed" Cobb and Samuel "SileNt" Portillo. The team made their debut in the DreamHack Anaheim open qualifier, but were sent packing in the Round of 16 following a 1-16 battering from Riot Squad.
zNf is no stranger to standing in for Mythic, having done so on a number of occasions in past MDL matches, qualifiers, and more recently, WINNERS League Season 3 Invite. This exact roster composition notably took down eUnited 2-1 in their opening playoffs match for WINNERS League just over two weeks ago, although they were subsequently dealt an 0-2 loss by Riot Squad to be eliminated in the quarterfinals.
Mythic's roster for the month looks as follows:
- Erik "fl0m" Flom
- Corbin "C0M" Lee
- Katlin "Keiti" Boop
- Adam "Polen" Polen
- Donovan "zNf" Froid (Stand-in)
- David "DAVEY" Stafford (Inactive)
- Leonardo "Laski" Arroyo (Backup)
The stream team are set to compete in the second ESL One Rio Americas Minor open qualifier later tonight, with matches kicking off at 6 PM EDT. As always, signup links and dates for upcoming events and qualifiers can be found on the Dust2.us Calendar.
