Infinity bring back malbsMd; get k1Nky
South American squad Infinity have brought back Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa from their bench in preparation for MDL Season 33. The team have also added Mexican player Francisco "k1Nky" Alvarez to round out their roster.
malbsMd returns to the team's active lineup following the benching of himself and fellow Guatemalan Javier "cruzN" Cruz last week.
The ESEA transactions page further reveals that the player at least briefly joined Singularity's roster within the past week. Dust2.us knows that this was as part of a separate project from the one featuring the likes of Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan and Kaleb "moose" Jayne.
As for k1Nky, he has not participated in MDL since Season 30, but played most of last season in Advanced with Arctic Roar, who finished the season 9-7.
Infinity are now:
- Andrés "spamzzy" Correa
- Santiago "Daveys" Galvis
- Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa
- Jesús "sam_A" Taboada
- Francisco "k1Nky" Alvarez
- Aldair "alone" Torres (Coach)
- Javier "cruzN" Cruz (Inactive)
With the season set to commence today, four placeholder rosters remain in the league. Of those, two in theory belong to DETONA and Isurus, but the duo face a far worse ping situation than Infinity.
The other two would in theory belong to Swole Patrol and ex-Singularity, but the two teams in addition to Riot Squad and Triumph, are yet to confirm their participation.
