MIBR's bench now contains the team's second-best performer

MIBR bench HEN1

The AWPer lasted ten months with the team.

MIBR announced on Twitter that Henrique "HEN1" Teles has been benched from the main squad, joining Matheus "Tuurtle" Anhaia on the sidelines. HEN1 joined the organization on August 2022 after the team had lost Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes to Imperial.

The 27-year-old AWPer is finishing his stint with MIBR with a 1.21 average rating and a 1.35 K/D ratio across the 240 maps played for the legendary Brazilian organization.

This announcement comes a month after Tuurtle was benched and now the team is looking at a line-up with only three players consisting of Raphael "exit" Lacerda, Breno "brnz4n" Poletto, and Felipe "insani" Yuji.

According to Dust2 Brasil, one of the missing pieces that MIBR would be trying to acquire is Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves, although the negotiations seemingly died out. With or without Lucaozy, the squad will still be missing an AWPer.

HEN1 took to Twitter to express his surprise in relation to his benching but the player stated that he still supports the team and hopes MIBR reaches its goals. Adding to that, the AWPer expressed his desire to keep playing, hoping that his performances during his time with MIBR caught other organizations' eyes.

With this move, MIBR is now:

  • Brazil Raphael "exit" Lacerda

  • Brazil Breno "brnz4n" Poletto

  • Brazil Felipe "insani" Yuji

  • Brazil Matheus "Tuurtle" Anhaia (Inactive)

  • Brazil Henrique "HEN1" Teles (Inactive)

  • Brazil Bruno "BIT" Fukuda Lima (Coach)
