Evil Geniuses targeting JACKZ
This morning, a report by Guillaume "neL" Rathier of 1pv revealed that North American organization Evil Geniuses is targeting former G2 and HEET player, Audric "JACKZ" Jug to join their roster.
At the time, there is no information about who the Frenchman would be replacing on the roster, only that he is one player being targeted by the organization. Separately, Dust2.us can confirm that Evil Geniuses has been evaluating the squad following a deeply disappointing first half of 2023, which saw the team only win three BO3s in six months.
During that time, the organization has failed to make any significant headway even while retooling their roster, which includes missing out on the final CS:GO Major. As part of Evil Geniuses' attempts to bring their roster back to a competitive state, they've strayed away from North America, bringing in Ismail "refrezh" Ali from Denmark. Bringing in JACKZ would mark an additional step away from their North American roots.
1pv's report claims that the organization has already begun talks with the player, as he is looking for a new project. The former G2 player has been teamless, outside of briefly standing in Vitality, for the last six months following the end of his time with HEET.
If EG sign JACKZ, the list of players attached to the main roster would be:
-
Vincent "Brehze Cayonte
-
Timothy "autimatic" Ta
-
Sanzhar "neaLaN" İskhakov
-
Jerric "wiz" Jiang
-
Ismail "refrezh" Ali
-
Audric "JACKZ" Jug
-
Daniel "Vorborg" Vorborg (Coach)
