FlyQuest RED-EG Gold core set to contest IESF World Championship
Team USA for the 15th IESF World Championships has been determined. The lineup is built a core of FlyQuest RED and EG Gold players, with Marissa "madss" Dasta, Kelsie "uhKelsie" Click, and Kiara "m1lky" Makua being called up from their respective organizations. Alongside that trio is 22-year-old Shimmer player, Vanessa "vanessa" Gideon, and somewhat surprisingly, streamer Sheila "Pterodactylsftw" Weidman.
Pterodactylsftw is a familiar face in the North American FPS space and had brief competitive stints in CS:GO and VALORANT. She has also been a content creator for a number of noteworthy NA organizations including Immortals.
The quintet of Americans are set to play in their first iteration of IESF's women's-only tournament, coming after Team USA missed out on attending last year's event in Bali. This year, the team has received a direct invitation and will compete in Iași, Romania for the majority of an $80,000 prize pool.
