ATK, LiViD, CLG Red, and ANEW move on to WESG Regional Finals
A grueling day of Counter-Strike yesterday saw ATK and LiViD advance through the co-ed division of WESG's North American closed qualifiers, while CLG Red and ANEW have done the same in the female-only bracket.
ATK battled through the upper bracket of their qualifier, overcoming Envy, Riot Squad, and eUnited in tight affairs to meet Ben's Anime Team in the finals. The one map advantage garnered came in handy for the American/South African side, as Josh "steel" Nissan and co. pushed them to the limit on both maps played in the grand final.

LiViD also swept their bracket, taking down rivals Oceanus in the quarterfinals as well as during their rematch in the grand finals. After having dropped only one map in the qualifier, the Canadian outfit are now set to meet ATK in Montreal on December 7th.

On the female side side of things, CLG Red had a much more convincing run than their make American counterparts, dispatching team washed 16-4 in the quarterfinals, before a pair of sweeps over Dignitas fe.

ANEW met slightly more resistance in their bracket, winning 16-3 against Québec FE before a pair of matches against Able. The latter team were able to force a third map in the first series after a close 16-14 on Dust2, but were unable to repeat their performance in the rematch against ANEW.
