steel and Infinite cause Chaos on Singularity ESEA roster
Joshua "steel" Nissan and Gage "Infinite" Green have joined the Singularity ESEA roster, while Ryan "ryann" Welsh has simultaneously been removed amid a trial with Envy. More importantly, Atle Stehouwer, CEO of Singularity, has also been removed from the team's roster, seemingly reaffirming a report by Rush B Media that indicated Chaos was looking to enter the North American scene with a roster helmed by steel.
The move sees steel and Infinite link up with Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman and Cameron "cam" Kern, with the two former Singularity players being required to play in eight out of the first nine games for the team to retain their MDL slot. Former Cloud9 player William "RUSH" Wierzba was previously reported to be the fifth member of the team, but would require a buyout as he still remains contracted to Cloud9.
The previous report also alleged that the team were in talks with Niels-Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen, although talks may have been put on hold or scrapped entirely as the player would not be able to play in ESEA matches at the start of the season due to the roster rules if RUSH was also added to the lineup.
The "Singularity" ESEA roster currently has:
- Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman
- Cameron "cam" Kern
- Joshua "steel" Nissan
- Gage "Infinite" Green
An announcement from the players or an organization is expected in the coming days.
