Chaos look towards North America after release of Swedish team
American organization Chaos announced the release of their Swedish CS:GO squad earlier today, and that the organization will be looking to acquire a new team located in North America.
In their accompanying news article, Chaos mentioned that due to the distance between Sweden and the company's headquarters in the United States, they were unable to give "110% of support" to their Swedish team, which was one of the factors in the organization deciding not to renew their contracts.
Originally known as Digital Chaos, the organization first entered CS:GO back in May 2018 when they signed a Swedish roster headlined by former Ninjas in Pyjamas and Fnatic players Mikail "Maikelele" Bill, Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi, and Markus "pronax" Wallsten.
Over the course of the next 15 months, the team went through a number of roster changes, failing to make a splash in Europe, with their only notable offline appearance being a last place finish at DreamHack Open Summer 2019.
The most desirable choice for the organization would presumably be Swole Patrol, with the former Lazarus side the keepers of a spot in ESL Pro League. Other potentially viable options include similarly organization-less MDL teams New Identity and The Quest.
