LOS + oNe CS division shelved after key departure
LOS + oNe co-CEO and founder of oNe, Alexandre "kakaveL" Peres, announced in a livestream that Pedro "Maluk3" Campos has left the organization, effective April 21st, and is set to return to Brazil. The decision to part ways with Maluk3 marks a watershed moment for the Brazilian organization as Maluk3 has been with the team throughout its entire history in CS:GO, having joined the fledgling organization in late 2015.
During his time with oNe, later LOS + oNe, Maluk3 spearheaded the team's move to North America and has been a consistent face in online and offline competitions in the region, having played 17 seasons of ESEA Advanced, Premier, and ESL Challenger League in the past five years.
In his livestream on the team, kakaveL claimed that Maluk3 decided to leave LOS + oNe due to a desire to continue playing with Victor "iDk" Torraca and Matheus "pesadelo" Panisset. The duo recently found themselves out of LOS + oNe's lineup following an abysmal showing by the team at the BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR. kakaveL also claimed that Maluk3 is looking to find a new organization to compete under in Brazil and may also be eyeing Alencar "trk" Rossato and Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa to essentially rebuild the LOS + oNe squad under a new roof.
With Maluk3's departure, kakaveL closed his comments on the state of the team by stating that LOS + oNe "don't have a CS project and we don't know if we are going to have one in the following months," and that any return to CS:GO would depend on market conditions post-Major.
This leaves LOS + oNe with the following players under contract:
Alencar "trk" Rossato
Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa
Matheus "pesadelo" Panisset (Inactive)
