Neymar attends IEM Rio
Neymar, the international soccer (or football, depending on where you're coming from) superstar was spotted in the crowd attending Brazil's largest Counter-Strike event of the year, and likely the last major CS:GO event ever to be held inside the country.
The Paris Saint-German and Brazilian international has been on the sidelines due to a right ankle injury that was recently operated on in March.
It is no secret that Neymar is a not just a fan of Counter-Strike, but he is also a huge supporter of FURIA having been seen in the past wearing their shirts and tweeting in support of the players.
During the broadcast, he was noticed sitting in one of the boxes next to FURIA CEO Jaime Padua and Cristian Guedes, a partner of the organization.
Neymar had tweeted out support of the organization during the IEM Rio Major last year, showing his consistent support for the Brazilian esports organization.
FURIA is currently playing against Heroic, the IEM Rio Major runners up and the team that had eliminated FURIA on the main stage in the semi-finals.
