FURIA head home
After making their way past Fnatic, FURIA now find themselves facing another International squad in their ESL Pro League journey. FaZe have looked sharp so far at Pro League only dropping two close maps against Vitality, both of which went to Overtime, and will be a step up in competition for FURIA who so far have not played a top 10 ranked side.
FURIA started off the contest on their pick of Anubis, but it was probably a map to forget as the Brazilians could not get things going their way throughout the match. Despite starting off with a solid 6-3 lead, the Brazilians would slowly get their attack found out as FaZe recovered to win the half 8-7.
The second half was more of the same as FaZe dominated on their T-side and cruised their way to 16-9 map victory against their opponents.
With both sides headed towards Nuke, it looked like Faze were going to be the ones to cruise to a victory as they landed on their own map pick. That was almost exactly the case as the team recovered from a 0-3 deficit to rally to secure the first half of their T-side 9-6.
Switching sides, FURIA just couldn't break through the defense as they only managed to win one more round as FaZe secured their own pick 16-7.
FURIA are now headed back to the US where they will need to play in the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown and the upcoming BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR.
