Demon Time exorcised after 24 hours

Bobby "stamina" Eitrem has confirmed with Dust2.us that Demon Time, a roster that only went live on February 12th folded yesterday. The short-lived roster raised eyebrows during its first and final day on Earth after taking Evil Geniuses to overtime on Nuke during the first IEM Brazil Open Qualifier.

The circumstances leading to Demon Time's demise come down a calculated decision by stamina after being offered a spot on Strife shortly after Demon Time fell to Evil Geniuses. After weighing the options along with Demon Time's unlikely path to a spot in ECL or an organization, stamina decided on Strife with his addition to the squad to be announced in short order.

stamina told Dust2.us:

I received a last second offer from Strife and while I did look to make the project a long term thing, I felt the Strife offer was too good to pass up. With me leaving, the team wouldn’t have an AWP or IGL, and we struggled to get five together in the first place. Rather than try to move on without me, everyone is going their separate way.
