CLASIA exits Vendetta to focus on streaming, personal matters
After less than two months with Vendetta, Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney and the team have made the decision to mutually part ways while the team searched for a new fifth heading into 2023. The move marks the end of a mixed period for the 19-year-old player, having been the team's highest rated player during ESL Challenger League Season 43 while also garnering a fair bit of controversy for sleeping through the team's opening match playoffs against EG Black.
This blunder contributed to Vendetta's early exit from ECL playoffs, with the team falling to Iron Blood in the first round of the lower bracket. This disappointing end to the season seems to have influenced CLASIA's future plans as he told Dust2.us that in the near future he plans on focusing on streaming and his personal life, noting that he currently enjoying streaming more than playing on a team.
As for his replacement, Saad "Pluto" Siraj told Dust2.us that the team have a shortlist of replacements and are looking to make a replacement in the near future.
Vendetta are now:
-
Saad "Pluto" Siraj
-
Kevin "consti" Yi
-
Andrew "Tender" Cote
-
Connor "chop" Sullivan
Vendetta will look towards the start of ECL Season 44 on January 17th.
