Vendetta overhaul roster with EG Black talents
Vendetta have undergone a major overhaul of their roster, seeing Khizar "Momo" Rehman and Jake "WOOHOO" J. step down from the lineup while former EG Black duo Connor "chop" Sullivan and Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney have taken their places. These additions represent a massive boost to the team's firepower and overall star power as chop and CLASIA are touted as some of the strongest young talents in the NA scene despite both being shown the door at Evil Geniuses in recent months.
The changes to Vendetta come after a surprisingly successful ESL Challenger League season 42 campaign for the squad despite being reformed from the ashes of Bad News Bears. The team managed a 6-1 regular season record before falling in the first round of the lower bracket. The first indication of this shakeup to Vendetta came last night when WOOHOO was notably absent from the server in place of CLASIA while chop joined the ESEA roster earlier today.
Regarding the changes, Kevin "consti" Yi told Dust2.us that Momo stepped down from the roster to pursue a new project while WOOHOO stepped down due to a busy work schedule. The changes also come as Vendetta has intensified their efforts to find an organization, with the team bringing in Levitate CEO Avery Duncan as a manager to help facilitate this search.
In other Vendetta related news, Dust2.us confirmed the team's coach, Seng "Filo" Tu Aung, left the squad prior to the start of Season 43 to focus on school.
