Drone cleared of Overwatch ban
After receiving an Overwatch ban on June 1st, Taylor "Drone" Johnson has announced on that the ban has been removed by Valve, allowing him to use his main account again.
After deciding to play Valve matchmaking for the first time in months, Drone was handed a "griefing Overwatch ban" which nearly prevented him from participating in the third Americas Minor open qualifier. However, after consulting with StarLadder admins, it was determined that the player would be permitted to participate by playing on an alternate account. The team would go on to reach the Closed Qualifier, after defeating New England Whalers 2-0.
With his ban now sorted out, Drone will be playing on his main account with Peeker's Advantage during the Closed Qualifier, which is set to begin on June 12th. The final open qualifier is now underway, which will determine the final two teams that will reach the Closed Qualifier.
