paiN is the superior Noun
The first game of the early morning was between two familiar foes in paiN and Nouns. Both teams have spent time in North America with Nouns being based there and paiN having largely spent the last few years participating in the ESEA league system. As of late, paiN has moved to South America once again where they re-tooled their roster and gone from strength to strength.
In today's matchup on Nuke, it started out with Nouns on their T-side jumping out to a successful 3-0 lead. The momentum throughout the beginning of the game seemed to be on the side of the American lineup, however paiN was biding their time until they could procure a full buy. Once the brazilians had guns in their hands, it was all brazil, all the time. paiN would proceed to dominate and win the next nine rounds in a row to stretch their lead to 9-3 before ultimately finishing the first half 11-4.
Nouns would start off their second half on the CT-side where they would one again win the pistol, but just couldn't string together enough rounds to make it more competitive. paiN's T-sides were perfectly executed as they executed Nouns hopes of going 2-1. The Brazilians would finish the game 16-8 after successfully cleaning up the half.

paiN, now 2-1 will head to the qualification BO3 stage tomorrow while Nouns will hope to stave off elimination on Friday. Each team will have to wait until more matches are played to get a better idea of who they might go up against.
