1-1Nation dispatches Argentinians
00 Nation and Isurus faced off on Inferno this afternoon in a 0-1 matchup with both teams hoping to be one of the final 0-2 teams to join Infinity, oNe, and Arctic. A game to decide who would be on the brink of elimination and who would be headed to the wide open 1-1 pool. With the pressure mounting on all side, would the young kids from Argentina do it or would experience in 00 Nation prevail?
Starting on Inferno, 00 Nation and Marcelo "Coldzera" David would win the pistol, but somehow quickly fall behind to Isurus' aggressive style. Down 2-4, 00 Nation finally were able to stand their ground and secured seven rounds in a row to make it 9-4. The half slowly began to crumble towards the end as both sides traded the final two rounds equally.
Heading into the second half, it was the Argentinian's time to try and play defense. This time, they were much more prepared to go up against 00 Nation as Isurus would win the pistol and a scarily close second round force by the Terrorists.
Their run as a strong defense wouldn't last for long. Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer was absolutely dominating by the 22nd round posting a 22-12 K/D and 103.7 ADR. By this time, 00 Nation held a comfortable lead of 14-9 and simply did not look like they could be stopped. The Brazilians would end up steamrolling the match en route to a 16-10 scoreline.
00 Nation is expected to play Imperial tomorrow in their 1-1 matchup.
