Apparently there are infinite Nouns
Despite a harsh loss to Evil Geniuses earlier today, Nouns have completely turned it around and disposed of Infinity in their 0-1 matchup. This sees Nouns move to the 1-1 bracket where they only need two further wins to qualify to the Rio Major, whereas Infinity are now 0-2 and only one more loss away from elimination.
After losing the pistol round, with only David "cynic" Polster posting kills, it seemed that Nouns might have another nightmare of a game. However, things instantly turned around for the North Americans, with ten CT rounds to their name in a row after the pistol loss. On the 12th round, Nouns gave up another round after missing a couple key shots, putting Infinity on a 2:10 score.
Ending the half with another continuous streak of CT rounds, Nouns dominated 13:2. Switching sides, it was not meant to be for Infinity as they were unable to repeat their pistol upset as in the first half. Farming the rest of the rounds swiftly and easily, Nouns closed out the map 16:2. Although everyone posted a 1.40 rating on higher on Nouns, the standout player was Dominick "JazzPimp" Dimpfel with 109.5 ADR and a smacking 1.77 rating.
Nouns now move on to the 1-1 bracket, where FURIA, MIBR, Imperial, and paiN sit waiting. Infinity fall to 0-2 as the first team in that bracket.
