Mullet Men move on
Friends become foes as Ian "motm" Hardy faces off against his old teammates Ioannis "JT" Theodosiou and Ricky "floppy" Kemery at the IEM Road to Rio Americas RMR. ATK enter into the RMR hoping to make it to the Major for the first time while Complexity are coming off a successful ESL Pro League campaign where they qualified for playoffs and almost knocked off the #1 team in the world, Faze Clan.
The match began on Vertigo, where Complexity wasted absolutely no time in laying out a successful CT-side defense. The squad would win the pistol, and would end up trading some guns rounds as they took an early 8-2 lead. With JT, somehow, leading the way after 11 rounds with a 13-5 K/D and 114.1 ADR, it looked like the entire team was firing on all cylinders. Michael "Grim" Wince continued his hot streak as he finished off the first half with a 16-9 K/D and 110.3 ADR en route to a 12-3 half.
With the sides switched, ATK were able to get comfortable by taking their CT-side pistol and potentially making the game a little competitive, but Complexity would immediately respond with a force buy win. From there, nothing could stop Justin "FaNg" Coakley and the squad as they closed out the match 16-5.
