The Brazilians are headed to London

MIBR reverse sweep Liquid to claim last ECS S7 Finals spot

fer and felps put up big numbers for MIBR as they overcame Liquid.

MIBR has overcome Liquid to pull off the reverse sweep and book their ticket to the ECS Season 7 Finals at the SSE Arena in London.

Starting off on Liquid's map pick of Overpass, the team were in peak form, putting up an almost flawless CT-side and winning the half 12-3. The North Americans continued to illustrate their strength on the map by claiming their T-side pistol and the following two rounds. A singular round would be all MIBR would, as Liquid took Overpass 16-4. During the quick first map veteran Liquid player Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski put up a stellar performance with a 1.89 rating and a 22-7 K-D.

MIBR started off their map pick of Mirage by finding the opening T-pistol and the following two rounds, after which Liquid were able to find three rounds of their own. The two sides would continue to trade rounds, with Liquid ending the half slightly ahead 8-7. Once they were on their CT-side MIBR would find the opening pistol round again and convert it into four more rounds to take the lead 11-8. Immediately afterwards Liquid would find three rounds to tie up the scoreline before both teams traded rounds to tie up the action at a 12-12 scoreline.

MIBR would eventually close out map two after claiming four of the next five rounds, ending Mirage in a spectacular fashion with an AWP ace by Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo

With the series tied up, the action turned to Inferno to determine which team would qualify to the ECS Season 7 Finals. Liquid would start the map off by winning their CT-pistol. However MIBR were able to take seven out of the next eight rounds to put the score comfortably in their favor at 7-2. Liquid would find four more rounds, though still lose the half 9-6.

This comeback would not last long, as MIBR were able to win the pistol round and the following four rounds to bring the score to 14-6.  Liquid would find two rounds after this, but the beginning of the end for the American team began when Fernando "fer" Alvarenga was able to find a 3k after sneaking through a smoke with a USP-S. With Inferno on map point, Liquid notched three more rounds, but gave up the series after running out of time on an A-site push, with MIBR taking map three 16-11.
