floppy out of Torqued
Ricky "floppy" Kemery will no longer be part of Torqued, Dust2.us has confirmed after the 17-year-old player hinted on Twitter:
floppy joined the team earlier in the month in place of Neil "montE" Montgomery, which captain Josh "steel" Nissan said he hoped that floppy would be able to bring the team "higher short term success". Unfortunately for Torqued, their overall 8-8 record (2-2 with floppy) was not enough to make the ESEA MDL playoffs.
floppy had the following to say about his time with the team:
I am glad to have been given the opportunity to play with Torqued. Steel has helped me improve in the short amount of time that I have played with him and I am grateful that he gave me a good opportunity to become better.
The move comes at a time of uncertainty for Torqued, as steel has made public that he is open to offers from other MDL teams or Professional teams — though he has not ruled out a roster overhaul of his own team.
Torqued will next see action in the CyberPowerPC Extreme Gaming Series Winter event, to which the team has been invited.
floppy may not be the last change to the Torqued roster, as their lineup for the event will be vastly different than the last time they played, with Josh "steel" Nissan and Armeen "a2z" Toussi being joined by the FRENCH CANADIANS trio of Anthony "gMd" Guimond, Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik and Loic "effys" Sauvageau.
