Complexity claim forfeit over Movistar Riders in Europe

Tomorrow in the Roobet Cup, Complexity were set to face Movistar Riders in the Group B elimination match. Fortunately for the American side, Movistar decided to forfeit the match earlier today and prioritise their ESL Challenger League playoffs run.

The group stage elimination match was scheduled for 09:00AM tomorrow — the same time that the Spanish side are set to play versus SAW in the lower bracket of the ECL playoffs. If Movistar claim a victory there, their next match will be versus 1WIN in the lower bracket final, followed by a potential grand final versus Falcons. Should Movistar win both matches, they will quality to the Conference stage of ESL Pro League Season 17.

Moving ahead to the Group B decider match in the Roobet Cup, Complexity will be facing Astralis in a BO3 to determine which team will be eliminated and which will proceed to the playoffs. The match is scheduled for Sunday at 09:00AM which hopefully should allow Complexity more time to prepare than they would have normally had.
