xCeeD embarks on the quest; parts ways with cantwinalan
Jack "xCeeD" Holiman is no longer a part of the cantwinalan roster, who are now going by MASSIVEimpact on ESEA. Simultaneously, Mitch "mitch" Semago, who made the move to Test Takers early last week, and LAN-dodger Zechrie "XotiC" Elshani were also removed from the team's roster.
cantwinalan had a surprisingly strong showing in MDL Season 29, battling past Bravado and Vireo.pro in the playoffs to make it to the grand finals, where they took on Swole Patrol for a spot in ESL Pro League Season 9.
They were unsuccessful against Swole Patrol as they were forced to play the LAN with a stand-in due to XotiC's absence, going on to falter in both EPL Relegation and ESEA MDL Global Challenge Season 29 as well.
xCeeD linked up with former SoaR and Dignitas teammates Logan "Voltage" Long and Matthew "mCe" Elmore on "the quest" at the start of the month, where they were joined by former AZIO members Ian "motm" Hardy and Trevor "FrostayK" Bandle to complete the roster.
The team has already competed in the first ESEA Advanced Season 30 qualification cup, falling in the semifinals to Sam "4sh0t" Mariano's slashLEVEL, who went on to win the cup for a slot in Advanced next season.
the quest's complete roster looks as follows:
- Matthew "mCe" Elmore
- Logan "Voltage" Long
- Ian "motm" Hardy
- Trevor "FrostayK" Bandle
- Jack "xCeeD" Holiman
- Zyrus "Osodank" Bechstein (Coach)
- Austin "RenZ" Dickman (Substitute)
This leaves the MASSIVEimpact roster with just three players as former coach Michael "MAiNLiNE" Jaber steps back into the server:
- Connor "CONNOR93" Glover
- Sebastian "seb" Bucki
- Michael "MAiNLiNE" Jaber
the quest will look to qualify for Advanced once again in the second qualification cup, set to play out on January 3rd. The links and dates for the upcoming qualification cups for the ESEA leagues can be found on the Dust2.us Calendar.
