Report: Subroza set to step down as Ghost eye freakazoid
Jarek "DeKay" Lewis of VPEsports reported that Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik is set to step down from Ghost's roster, and the the team are eyeing Swole Patrol member Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir as a replacement. Dust2.us has been able to confirm the report.
Subroza's time with Ghost has been a tale of two halves, as the team languished in early 2018 before the addition of Josh "steel" Nissan and Kenneth "koosta" Suen. Since their inclusion into the template, Ghost have went on to make five LAN events (not including ESL One: Belo Horizonte), culminating in a 7-8th finish at ESL Pro League Season 8 Finals.
For freakazoid, a move to Ghost would cap off a turbelent end to the year, which saw his brother Austin "Cooper" Abadir depart Swole Patrol for eUnited, and had the player saying he would be looking for a new team at the season's end.
Swole Patrol ultimately prevailing in qualifying for ESL Pro League muddied these waters, but it seems now there is a possibility of the team participating in the league without one of their last remaining founding members. It is not currently known how receptive freakazoid is to the move, however.
The rosters of both teams would look as follows with the change:
Ghost | Swole Patrol |

A Canadian mix of Ghost players is set to attend the WESG 2018 World Finals in March, it is not known if Subroza will be on that roster.
Ghost, eUnited, and Swole Patrol are all due to take part in ESL Pro League Season 9, which earlier today was announced as taking place entirely on LAN.
