Vision replace motm with wrath
After playing under the Vision banner for just shy of a month, Ian "motm" Hardy has announced over social media that he is officially a free agent once again.
The 18-year-old player previously joined Vision back in late September as a stand-in, after Ricky "floppy" Kemery chose to step down from the team. During his short-lived tenure with Vision, motm stood out as one of the best performing players on the team, only once getting below a 1.00 Rating in his nine matches under Vision.
With motm out of Vision, Dust2.us has learned that Collin "wrath" McSweegan will be rounding out the roster in his place. wrath had previously left cantwinalan's ESEA roster earlier in the day before joining Vision's earlier tonight.
The player joins Chad "Oderus" Miller, who recently joined Spacestation, as the second player to leave cantwinalan in the past week. The two players will likely be joined by Mitch "m1tch" Semago, who was mysteriously absent from the team's roster during the DreamHack Open Atlanta open qualifier.
The move was likely influenced by Vision's disappointing performing five weeks into the MDL regular season, where they are currently in ninth place with a 6-5 record. Vision were also unable to qualify for the DreamHack Open Atlanta closed qualifier, dropping to Advanced team 4US in the open bracket, despite an outstanding performance from motm.
Vision's roster is now:
- Gabe "Spongey" Greiner
- Jake "kaboose" McDonald
- Andy "vSa" Xu
- Alex "aproto" Protopapas
- Collin "wrath" McSweegan
- Mark "markalodon" Rose (coach)
Vision's new roster will be tested in the next week of MDL, where they will go up against Mythic, who are currently 9-1 in the regular season with only one loss to Spacestation.
