compLexity fall to AVANGAR in MSI MGA Grand Final
The MSI MGA Grand Final kicked off bright an early today on the main stage at the Barclays Center, with compLexity taking on the Kazakh squad AVANGAR. After the vetos were completed, their battleground was determined to be Dust2.
The map started off strong for compLexity, as they took the opening pistol on the Terrorist side, as well as the following two rounds. Their best scoreline of the half would be 6-2, before AVANGAR and Timur "buster" Tulepov went on a six round streak, ending the half with an 8-7 lead for the CIS team.
compLexity looked to get back into the match with another pistol win, but were immediately reset in the following round, allowing the Kazakhs to open up a substantial 13-8 lead. With AVANGAR on match point, compLexity were left with no money, and their pistols were not enough to hold off the onslaught.
The final standings for MSI MGA are:
1. AVANGAR - $30,000
2. compLexity - $15,000
3. eUnited - $10,000
4. Movistar Riders - $5,000
compLexity's next match will come against AZIO in the ECS Season 6 Challenger Cup, where Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz and his men will hope to secure a spot in the upcoming season. Following that, they will begin their ESL Pro League campaign, with their first match coming against the new-look Renegades roster.
