DreamHack Montreal to feature CS:GO
DreamHack have announced on social media that DreamHack Montreal will feature CS:GO, featuring the normal $100,000. It will be the fifth and next stop in the DreamHack Open circuit. DreamHack Open Montreal was previously announced, but not with CS:GO originally.
Last year, DreamHack Montreal was won by North, who have overhauled their roster since, bringing in Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye and, for a time, Daniel "mertz" Mertz. It was also the event that initiated the demise of the former Immortals lineup as a result of certain players being late to games and the tweets of Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe directed at Pujan "FNS" Mehta.
The event will run from September 7th - 9th, which is during the FACEIT London Major. This means the competition will be of the lower tier, although there is a possibility of NRG competing in Montreal due to failing in the Minor.
