mOE receives month ban on Twitch
Streaming platform Twitch has banned Mohamad "mOE" Assad from their website, citing hateful conduct. The initial email mOE received said that the ban was indefinite, but was later clarified to be a month ban.
mOE also commented on a portion of an email he received that stated that the first and second community strikes a channel receives would be 24 hour bans, something that seems to be contradictory given that this is supposedly his first ban on the site.
A clip from his stream was provided as the incriminating piece which resulted in the ban. In it, mOE is discussing his opinion and usage of the word "faggot." You can see it on streamable.
The day after, caster Roy "Strong Legs" Ahad was also banned for a month for use of the word "queer" on his stream.
For the duration of their ban both individuals will not be able to appear on any stream in addition to their own. This is in line to Matthew "Sadokist" Trivett's ban which caused him to presumably miss at least one tournament as a caster.
