ESEA MDL Season 28 - Week One: The Really Old People take charge

It's coming towards the end of May, and we're happy to say the ESEA season has once again commenced! The majority of teams in the division have played their first matches, with just six teams awaiting their season opener.

The first matches took place on Tuesday, May 22nd with the Squirtle Squad taking on Vikings, from which a close match saw Jacob "L0NER" Webster and co. take the league's first points. Elsewhere we saw Really Old People and Bravado take key wins to point themselves towards the top, alongside Dignitas' new roster as they look for a better season now back in the MDL.

The bottom of the table isn't great viewing for the first game participants, with various teams ranging from Fam143, to The Pioneers and even Gorilla Gang suffering first round losses to see them hit the foot of the table.
