compLexity scale Splyce to top Starseries Group B
The first team to make it out of Group B for the Starseries i-League Season 5 Qualifier is compLexity, after taking down Splyce in just two maps.
Beginning on Cache, Splyce set the tempo by claiming the first three rounds on their T-side. With little defense in sight on the side of compLexity, they would maintain that lead until the half 10-5. Splyce's early game success was then mimicked compLexity, as they went on a tear of their own on the Terrorist side. After racking up the pistol and subsequent two rounds, they would all but win out, with little push-back from Splyce 16-13.
Moving onto Train, it was an entirely different narrative that would unfold between these two teams. compLexity kicked things off with nine consecutive rounds on their CT-side and after a one round hiccup, continued to win out the half in a landslide 14-1 scoreline in their favor. A glimmer of hope for a reverse sweep came as Splyce managed to claim a pistol round of their own, but compLexity soon ended the suffering for their EPL compatriots 16-2.
