oNe set to replace Isurus at WCA Finals
Brazilian team oNe are set to replace Argentinian team Isurus at the upcoming WCA 2017 Finals due to the latter team withdrawing to focus on regional tournaments, including the upcoming ESL LA League and ESL One Belo Horizonte qualifiers.
oNe come in due to being the third-place finishing team in the WCA South American qualifier, behind Isurus and INTZ who have since disbanded as a roster. oNe have been performing strong since arriving in the USA, competing in a number of high profile events including a top four finish at WESG 2017 World Finals, also in China.
Their attendance in China may make some sense as to why the team was omitted from the invite list for the ESL One Belo Horizonte qualifiers, with the event in China landing right in the middle meaning competing would be severely hampered. However, such issues seem to be planned out for Luminosity, with the team set to compete in both.
The current team list for the beleaguered event in Zuhai, Guangdong, China on April 29th-30th is:
Valour | Next Generation |
Luminosity | AGO |
Recca | oNe |
