CLG Academy replace mcs with infinite1

infinite1 becomes the second lol yeah alum to be recruited to a Premier side.

According to the team's ESEA roster, Chase "mcs" Sullivan has been replaced by Gage "infinite1" Green ahead of the start of the ESEA Premier Season 26 campaign. Much like former teammate Thomas "tconnors" Connors, Green impressed at Fragadelphia 11 and this will be his first Premier season. In fact, both players were considered for the team, but the team elected to only add infinite1. Despite the roster moves taking place on September 7, there has been no official announcement from the Counter Logic organization yet.

CLG Academy have cut somewhat of a frustrating figure since their inception as a team, with their best result being a 5-6th placing at Fragadelphia 11. The team finished 12th in ESEA Premier Season 25, which was enough to guarantee their return the following season, but decidedly out of the playoffs. They will hope that the addition of infinite1 brings them more firepower. The most promising member of the squad is almost certianly Alex "aproto" Protopapas, who several professional teams have made inquiries about. For whatever reason, nothing has come to fruition, though it is likely that CLG view him as a potential candidate to slot into their main roster.

CLG Academy's roster is currently:

  • Canada Victor "cardiac" Kwan
  • Canada Jonathan "djay" Dallal
  • United States Tyler "Char" Wallace
  • United States Alex "aproto" Protopapas
  • United States Gage "infinite1" Green
  • United States Corey "ruin" Hartog (Coach)
