roca no longer headshotting and such with Splyce; reltuC potential replacement
Daniel "roca" Gustaferri has left Splyce, the organization announced through Twitter. roca had been part of the team for the past year, joining after leaving Echo Fox.
Dust2.us has learned roca's contract expired, and he and the organization failed to come to an agreement on new terms.
The replacement for roca is yet to be confirmed, but Dust2.us has also learned that former CLG member Stephen "reltuC" Cutler has been tabbed as a potential replacement.
reltuC was mysteriously absent from RONIN's MDL match last night, being replaced by friend of the team Lonnie "mizoo" Tran. He has also recently added several members of the Splyce support staff to to his Steam friends list, more specifically coach Zachary "Eley" Stauffer and analyst Taylor "Tailored" Broomall.
Splyce have had a poor start in the ESL Pro League so far, currently sitting in 9th with three wins and seven losses. Former teammate of Zack "XotiC" Elshani, Alex "aproto" Protopapas, is set to be standing in for Splyce at the iBUYPOWER Invitational this weekend, because reltuC has a prior engagement
