FPL NA relaunches; Dust2.us Western Pro League announced
After a long hiatus, FACEIT has revamped and revived their North American FACEIT Pro League system. The service will be making its return with several new features including three partnered hubs to participate in, a development league, and stronger administrator support. The platform also received an update yesterday, and the launch of the FPL Circuit earlier today.
Striving for larger community involvement and moderator presence, FACEIT has partnered with Dust2.us to operate its West Coast hub, Mythic for its Central hub, and recently launched PreGame to lead their East Coast hub.
By working with community leaders such as ourselves and others mentioned, FACEIT looks to ensure adequate support is provided to each competing divison that wasn't once possible.
Similar to ESEA's Rank G, FACEIT will also bring over FPL Challenger (FPL-C), their iteration of a development-style league for up-and-coming players looking to breach into the professional scene. Top ranking individuals each month will be advanced to FPL and be able to compete alongside the best North America has to offer, as well as have a chance to claim a portion of the monthly prize pool.
For those looking to gain entrance to FPL-C, merely start playing on the appropriate regional hub, and get grinding! In our Western hub you might be lucky enough to cross paths with players from Cloud9, Liquid, NRG or SK, whereas in the Central hub you might run into compLexity or OpTic members.
This marks FACEIT's second attempt at trying to establish their platform in North America after the previous iteration of FPL was overtaken by ESEA's Rank S in the region.
FACEIT is confident that their restructured and community driven system will be the key to long-term success. To sign-up for FACEIT or for more information regarding this announcement, you can visit their site at https://www.faceit.com/en.
