Former SoaR quartet add mitch; shinobi to coach
The former players of SoaR have picked up former Splyce player Mitch "mitch" Semago, who will fill the vacancy left by Ryan "Snakes" Amann, who is only fifteen and cannot compete in Pro League or MDL due to age restrictions.
In addition, the team have added former Rogue IGL Josh "shinobi" Abastado as coach in place of Teric "Bibby" Ingram. Bibby was recently relinquished from his duties due to a lack of experience. This will be shinobi's first stint as a coach and he will look to work with Matthew "mCe" Elmore to help the young team adapt to the higher level of play they will experience in the Pro League.
The roster's first outing was this weekend in the first and second ECS Season 5 qualifiers, playing under the tag "ownage" — a mitch special. ownage fell to compLexity in the quarterfinals of the first qualifier, before cruising through the second qualifier yesterday.
ownage's roster is now:
- Logan "Voltage" Long
- Michael "Grim" Wince
- Jack "xCeeD" Holiman
- Matthew "mCe" Elmore
- Mitch "mitch" Semago
- Josh "shinobi" Abastado (Coach)
- Ryan "Snakes" Amann (Inactive)
An announcement of the team's new organization, rumored to be Dignitas, is expected in the coming days.
