Splyce and mitch part ways
After only somewhat recently assuming duties as the team's primary AWPer, Mitch "mitch" Semago has parted ways with Splyce, Dust2.us has learned.
The roster change follows a series of disappointing results in the ESL Pro League, Dreamhack Winter Qualifier, and the CyberPowerPC Extreme Gaming Series Winter. Bright spots have occurred for the squad on LAN, however, with a BO5 win against Ghost in the ROG Masters 2017 Americas Regional Finals and strong showings against Gambit and TyLoo at the Grand Finals in Malaysia.
Splyce will evidently be looking for another AWPer to complete their roster, something that there is no shortage of in the tattered remains of ex-CLG/Unemployed for Christmas, who the organization had been tied to talks with previously. Regardless of who the new player may be, the start of the next Pro League season is fast approaching.
The Splyce roster as of now:
- Taylor "Drone" Johnson
- Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen
- Daniel "roca" Gustaferri
- David "DAVEY" Stafford
- Zachary "Eley" Stauffer (Coach)
As for mitch's future, the player has been participating in tryouts for Pro and MDL sides, in hopes of finding a new home.
