witmer replaces poised on Guerilla Tactics
Shawn "witmer" Taylor released a TwitLonger today explaining both his reasons for leaving GX as well as joining the new team he's a part of.
Witmer stated that him joining GX was a "last second" move because of the team's need for a stand-in and as such he felt that he was "never the team's first choice". Combined with his inability to be a reliable teammate outside of the game due to living at his old house and the following move to his own place meant that it was very hard for him to keep up with the team's needs.
As such, citing that his unhappiness on GX affected his teammates, witmer has now joined Guerilla Tactics, whom he has represented before. He went on to say that even though moving from an MDL team to a Main team was "a hard pill to swallow," it would give him an opportunity to " have a real come-up run again like the old witty."
The roster of Guerilla Tactics will be as follows:
- Bradley "crazylegs" Waddington
- Lucas "Fiziq" Blow
- Christopher "Spriggals" Spriggs
- Marcos "tacitus" Castilho
- Shawn "witmer" Taylor
- Justin "coachJ" Anzalone (Coach)
On the Guerilla Tactics side of things, Kevin "poised" Ngo has been removed due to a "contract dispute." The team agreed to compensate him "at a rate of 200% of the contract he was set to sign for the games he has played so far," and use Belal "FGB" Ahmad as a stand-in. Dust2.us knows that said dispute was due to poised trying out for other teams while still under contract with Guerilla Tactics without the organization knowing.
FGB played for Guerilla Tactics until December of last year before he took a break to "find a better balance."
