M80 suffer ugly loss to 3DMAX, now on brink of elimination after hot start
One of M80's worst international performances has come at the worst time, as their loss to 3DMAX today now puts them on the brink of elimination at ESL Pro League Season 21.
The series started very poorly for M80, falling into a deep hole early on their own pick of Anubis. The veteran Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro put on an individual masterclass, and 3DMAX kept M80 rising star Mason "Lake" Sanderson from making any real impact. 3DMAX took an early series lead with a 13-7 on Anubis.
Train was more of the same, with 3DMAX putting together another impressive streak of T-side rounds to build a massive lead. Lake once again had little impact, but Michael "Swisher" Schmid had a miserable time on Train, notching only 2 kills in a 13-5 3DMAX win.

The 12 rounds notched today appear to be M80's lowest round total in a best-of-three series ever. M80 is now at risk of elimination despite not dropping a single map during the first two rounds of stage one.
