PGL Bucharest Open Qualifier 1 Results

The first of four open qualifiers for PGL Bucharest 2025 have begun. MCS, regain, MarcaRegistrada, HbITuKu, and Aether all advanced through this open qualifier.

MCS and regain went undefeated, looking very clean throughout the bracket.

Aether advanced in the riskiest way possible, falling in the quarterfinals and needing to traverse the 5th place decider bracket.

There, Aether defeated MIGHT via forfeit before winning 2-0 over Squids Select to make the closed qualifier.

Few teams from ESEA Advanced League signed up for the first OQ, but expect that to change, as there are many slots up for grabs in the PGL Bucharest Closed Qualifier.

The second open qualifier wraps up today, with the closed qualifier beginning on February 28th and runs until March 8th.
