Wildcard misses golden opportunity against Virtus.pro
After beating MIBR in round 1, Wildcard has suffered their second straight agonizingly close 0-2 loss at PGL Cluj Napoca. Wildcard, like their NA counterparts in Complexity, fell to Virtus.pro and now must win two straight matches to advance to playoffs.
Virtus.pro got off to a fast start on their Dust2 pick, winning nine straight rounds on T-side from the bonus round on. Wildcard managed to fight back, but Evgenii "FL1T" Lebedev shut them down in the 23rd round with a huge triple in the Lower B Tunnel.
Wildcard started strong themselves on Inferno, jumping out to an 8-4 lead. But VP would fight all the way back, and another clutch, this time from Petr "fame" Bolyshev, spelled the end for Wildcard in the series.
