Legacy top IEM Dallas 2025 SA Closed Qualifier
Legacy qualified for IEM Dallas 2025 on February 12th following a 2-0 victory against Fluxo in the grand finals of the South American Closed Qualifier. The team led by former paiN player Lucas "lux" Meneghini started their run in the open qualifier unlike Fluxo and Sharks, which makes this accomplishment a bit more special.
Legacy defeated UNO MILLE and LaChampionsLiga in the best-of-one series of the open qualifier and then convincingly took down BESTIA in a best-of-three series to advance to the IEM Dallas SA Closed Qualifier.
Their unbeaten form would continue in the Closed Qualifier as they beat Sharks and Fluxo, twice, without dropping a single map in these three matches. lux and Guilherme "saadzin" Pacheco were the difference-makers in the grand finals as they combined for 80 kills in just 44 rounds played versus Fluxo.
Legacy currently sit in the 10th place of the Americas Valve Regional Standings (VRS), so playing at IEM Dallas will present the squad with the opportunity to gain some precious points.
