Alter Iron lose roster as team seeks more support

The team have left the organization to pursue new opportunities.

Alter Iron have announced that the organization has parted ways with their ESL Challenger League lineup, as the team has left to search for a new home in 2025. The team initially signed for Alter Iron in October 2024 and represented the organization in ESEA Advanced Season 51 and the first week of ECL S49 after qualifying to the league through Relegation.

Talen "Talen" M. told Dust2.us that the squad elected to leave Alter Iron as the organization was only symbolically supporting the team, offering no material support or salaries. While the team were fine with this arrangement in Advanced, Talen says that appearing to be a part of an organization apparently hurt their prospects with other organizations who did not want to be seen trying to poach a squad.

As such, the team have adopted a new moniker, SUPER EVIL GANG, and are looking for a new organization to call home. Hopefully a new organization will help undo the team's recent results as they have struggled in their ECL debut, with the team boasting a 0-8 record in the league.

SUPER EVIL GANG consists of:

  • United States Talen "Talen" M.

  • Misha "Misha" Ivanov

  • Canada Aidan clipzera S.

  • United States Caden "arias" Allison

  • United States Connor "flow" M.

SUPER EVIL GANG will make their debut against Getting Info on February 18th in ESL Challenger League Season 49.
